With so many products out there (supplements, laxatives, and more extreme measures like starvation diets & etc) I feel it's my obligation to understand that people want quick fixes. That's life now, everything is at our fingertips, so the ability to lose 5 pounds should be as well. And unfortunately, companies with far less integrity than me have profited off of providing downright dangerous methods to weight loss, knowing that desperate people will take it. So what I've done is come up with a great list of options to lose up to 5 pounds in a day WITHOUT sending yourself to the hospital. And because I'm honest, I'll let you know that this is only a temporary fix. Whatever weight you lose, unless you continue all these same things, you're likely to put the weight back on in a matter of days. But because I have monthly assessments to track the progress of my team (the people I train (clients)) they can sometimes be obsessed with the numbers. So instead of them possibly resorting to dangerous tactics listed above, I've compiled a list of healthy ways to drop fat within 24 hours and I'm sharing it with you.
- Caffeine is a great diuretic and will help you shed weight if consumed early in the day.
-Consume only the necessary amount of water, any extra may be stored unless you sweat it off.
-SWEAT. The best thing you can do is have a high intensity or high heat environment. Whether you achieve this thru exercise (recommended) or an hour in the sauna, a really good sweat will surely drop a couple pounds, even if just for a couple days.
-Limit salt intake. Every gram of sodium has the ability to hold water in, so the more sodium your body has at the time, the greater the chance of you holding in water weight.
-Stay away from pork, beef, & bread. These things take multiple days to completely digest, so they are likely to add extra weight.
-Get in a leafy green or fruit today. These are great for the digestive system, so they'll act as a far less intense laxative, cleaning you out & ridding your body of waste that it previously wasn't able to get rid of.
-Work out in the morning. Even if it's just a small 20-30 minute workout, the boost that a morning workout gives your metabolism is unbeatable, and it will have a large affect on how well the rest of the tips above are implemented.
